Federal government requests return of Beothuk remains from Scotland

The remains of two Beothuks, a husband and wife, have languished in a Scottish museum for almost two centuries. The Newfoundland and Labrador government has worked with a Mi'kmaq First Nation to get them back - and now they have an ally in the federal government, which is formally requesting repatriation.
