Executives at Nevsun Resources repeatedly denied direct knowledge of human rights violations at their site in Eritrea, but company documents filed in court and reviewed by CBC’s The Fifth Estate show executives at the highest level appear to have been informed of issues of forced labour and other possible human rights violations at the mine a decade ago.
